The local Facebook Live seller Lerine Yeo aka. “S-Hook Zhe Zhe” who has gone viral recently for her humorous and spunky way of advertising and selling products now has new goals in her sights.
Lerine Yeo, who owns Misshopper Boutique was a radio guest on Love 97.2FM《早安! 玉建煌崇》this morning on their 8am show to talk about her experiences in running an online boutique as well as give some insight into her overnight shot to superstardom.
Before making it big as a Facebook Live salesperson, she worked at Bugis Street selling clothes and t-shirts. She did this for 15 years before creating her own business online. She said customer service is very important to her and she takes great pride in making people happy.
She mentioned that in the beginning, she only got about 20-30 viewers on her live stream, but it has steadily increased over time. Lerine, who has no fixed timing for when she comes online, has even done an 8-hour live stream, coming to a close at 5am. As of now, Lerine does not have an e-commerce page and customers can only buy her apparel through her live streams.
During the show, she was also tasked to showcase her selling prowess on the radio station’s Facebook Live video which had garnered a new record of 6,000 live viewers. Lerine Yeo then proceeded to work her magic on the viewers, attempting to sell some radio merchandise.
While on the air, Radio host Mark Lee also expressed interest in signing her for three years to his company “King Kong Media”, which is a diverse regional entertainment agency. He stated that being a new personality in the public eye will come with its fair share of pressure and stress because of the heavy media attention.
Lerine, who seemed all for it, readily agreed. They even held a little informal contract signing in the radio station in view of the live audience!
At 4pm today she came online for a short Livestream telling her fans that she had only 50 umbrellas to sell tonight, the same merchandise from the radio show.
Go on down and pick them up before they are all sold out! “You all eh hiao bo (you all understand or not?) Now you bid, tomorrow you cannot cancel already.”
